Professional Certificate in Small Business Coaching
The Professional Certificate in Small Business Coaching brings together three core training courses into one complete, structured pathway that helps you expand your existing practice to include small business coaching with structure and confidence.
It begins with a 6-week Learn to Coach Course, where you’ll build a strong foundation in coaching using the ICF Core Competencies, including how to listen deeply, ask powerful questions, and maintain presence with your clients.
Next, participants join a 12-week live Certification cohort, working through the Successful Business Field Guide and learning how to use its systems, tools, and templates. This phase includes completing the SBC Business Plan Course to understand the small business owner’s perspective and gain tools for guiding clients through business planning.
Participants also complete 11 hours of mentor coaching over 3 months.
With 60+ hours of synchronous instruction and 60+ hours of fieldwork, reading, and practice, participants graduate with the required training to apply for ICF Level 1 ACC credentials and earn the Certified Systems Business Coach® designation, becoming licensed to deliver the Systems Business Coach® method and materials.
