You’ll dive straight into the ICF Core Competencies and develop coaching skills that foster clarity, ownership, and action. Coaching Bootcamp is a prerequisite for all our ICF-credentialed programs. 

This course prioritizes skill development, so you can use what you learn immediately in the conversations you’re already having. You’ll learn what coaching is and isn’t, practice the skills between classes, and build the ability to guide focused, high-trust conversations that lead to action.

This Coaching Bootcamp helps helping professionals add real coaching skills to their work with business owners. You will learn what coaching is and is not, practise the skills between classes, and build the ability to guide focused, high-trust conversations that lead to action.

Do I need previous business or coaching experience?

No coaching experience is required. This Bootcamp is designed to teach you how to coach from the ground up, starting with the structure of a coaching conversation and the core skills you will practise between classes.

You will be able to run a simple, structured coaching conversation right away. You will practise staying present, building trust, and using open questions that help a client think, reflect, and move forward.

 

The Bootcamp includes six live classes, two hours each, with coach practice between sessions. You will learn a coaching skill, practise it, then return to debrief, refine, and build the next layer.

You will learn the practical skills required for strong coaching conversations, including:

Yes. This Bootcamp is a required course in our ICF-accredited Level 1 and Level 2 pathways. It builds the coaching fundamentals you need before moving into deeper competency development and recorded performance work.

Yes. The Bootcamp is designed to build the coaching behaviours and session structure that support strong performance on ICF-style evaluations. You will practise the skills that assessors listen for, then improve through repetition and feedback.

You should plan for regular coaching practice between sessions. The Bootcamp is skill-based, which means your confidence and results come from doing the work between classes, not only attending the live training.

Yes. The Coaching Bootcamp counts toward the Certified Systems Business Coach® certification requirements because it builds the core coaching skills we expect every Certified Systems Business Coach® to demonstrate. The Bootcamp includes coach practice and focuses on the ICF Core Competencies, so if you are still building your coaching skills, this is a strong place to start.

This Bootcamp is practical and skill-forward. You are learning how to coach through real practice, with a clear process you can repeat, improve, and use immediately. It is also embedded in an ICF-accredited pathway for those pursuing Level 1 or Level 2.
